To prevent efflorescence, ensure proper drainage around the masonry and use water-resistant barriers. Regular cleaning with a stiff brush or a mild acid solution can help manage existing deposits. It's also beneficial to seal masonry surfaces to reduce water pe*******on, thereby minimizing future occurrences of this pesky problem.
