Rosie is working on the Place command today. She’s a nervous girl, especially when she’s not around her big sister Riley. The picture on the left looks like a smile right? It’s not. She’s very tense and stress panting. Her tongue isn’t hanging low it’s also tense. You can see the crinkles in the side of her face because her muscles are so tight. The picture on the right is after she held the command for some duration. She relaxed enough to allow her body some relief. Teaching the dog to regulate her own energy is the goal here.
