Getting the beds ready in the new farrowing shed. Andrew helped to spread straw and put the last screws in. Thanks to Grandpa for all the milled lumber.

Well here are some of our cuts from the first two Kunekune's. Live weight was 125 # and 150 #. Hanging weight was 80 and 105.

Slaughter was done by Jon Hines. He was great with my 7 year old watching and asking questions.

Now they are at . That's their photo below. We left bone in on most everything. Andrew can't wait for the bacon.

Well... we'll see what we get in 3 months, 3 weeks and 3 days from now on December 5th. That introduction took about 5 minutes.

Well that was a long day. Was a little fun getting him into the trailer, finally got him backed in. We stopped and gave home a few bottled water showers on a hot day.

He's a big boy. We will get him introduced to Rosemary, Willow and Daisey in the next couple days. And hopefully in around 4 months there will be more bacon seeds.
