Triathlon Stories: Back Mountain helped shape Tim O’Donnell, one of America’s greatest triathletes For local multi-sport athletes, 2019 is a year many will remember. Some gathered in groups across the Wyoming Valley, watching their computer screens and cheering wildly as an American did the seemingly impossible at the Ironman World Championship in Kona, Hawaii.

Despite temperatures that felt more like March than May — and even a little hail — the Wyoming Seminary Open in Memory of Rusty Flack ’72 on Friday, May 8 was filled with great golf, laughter, and camaraderie. Thank you to everyone who braved the elements and made it such a memorable day honoring Rusty’s legacy.
