Since we missed last week's Tactful Tuesday, here's a second TT post to make up for it! This time we're recognizing the starting day of the Gulf War Ceasefire. This mission itself was met successfully, freeing Kuwait from Iraqi invasion back in 1990-91. One aftermath of the war was the phenomenon known as Gulf War syndrome, ailing many returning soldiers. In the goal of freedom for all, we honor our troops for their service.

February 23 marked the end of a three-week long mission to save prisoners of war (American and Allied forces) from Japanese soldiers during World War II. This mission was a series of rescues spread throughout the Philippines, aided by local Filipino forces!
