I was contacted in regards to providing an Inspection and Fair Market Valuation on this 2017 F150. The truck was being offered for sale by the County Sheriff's office in an auction format.

Upon inspection I found body/paint damage, a stained and partially flooded interior, a cracked windshield, and the worst part, the engine had a bad "KNOCK" when idling.

Unfortunately, this truck required more money to fix than it would be worth in the end.

We luckily gave enough information to the potential bidder that he was able to make an informed decision on whether or not this was a suitable purchase for him.

So why would you spend money to have a 2-year-old, low mileage CPO (Certified Pre Owned) Vehicle inspected before you buy?? Because it is a -BUYER BEWARE world we live in, and spending less than 1% of the total purchase price having independent eyes on the job is good insurance on your purchase.

In the case of this 2021 Porsche 911 Turbo being sold by a dealership in South Florida, the buyer told me that he wasn't comfortable buying it sight unseen without having someone check it over for any issues. His main concern?? Water Damage! Hurricane Ian wreaked havoc on Southwest Florida and there were a LOT of cars flooded during this catastrophic event. Luckily this dealership was nothing but honest in their representation of the car. Everything checked out on this 4K mile Porsche and it presented in a LIKE NEW condition.
