Today at church we heard of the story of Zacchaeus. Zacchaeus was a chief tax collector and was despised by the people. He was also a short man who climbed a tree so that he could see Jesus as he passed by.
Jesus stopped and call Zacchaeus by name and said he would be eating at Zacchaeus' house that day. This was not what people would expect a person of God to do, eat with sinners such as tax collectors.
As a member of Christian Motorcyclist Association I am asked by Jesus to go to places that the "normal Christian" would not go. As Jesus said many times, he didn't come to heal the healthy, but to heal the sick and sinful of this world. We are as Christ's followers commanded to go into the world and preach the gospel of Jesus Christ, so that others may come to accept Jesus as their Lord and Savior.
Have you accepted Jesus as your Lord? If so, do you live your life Every day for him? If you haven't accepted Jesus into your life, please don't wait another day! You can see just how bad the world is now, the time is here. Heaven and Hell are real places! Where are you going to spend eternity? Jesus IS THE ONLY WAY to HEAVEN!
My prayer is that you will accept Jesus TODAY.
Please don't make a pastor have to lie as to where you are headed at your funeral. Unfortunately, many have to say that he or she are in a better place, knowing full well that person has turned their back on God and Jesus. Don't be one we have to lie about.
