Turning Point - System Of Care

We have three new Psychiatric-Mental Health Nurse Practitioners that have joined our team to provide services to our patients. The first PMHNP we're spotlighting is Sarah. She has been a PMHNP for five years, and was a nurse for five years before that.

She says, "I chose this field because I like working with patients with addiction and mental health issues and watching patients grow and make healthy life changes. I am excited to make a positive impact in Howard County by joining the Turning Point team."

Sarah is married with a two-year-old daughter and two dogs. In her free time, she likes reading, outdoor activities, and spending time with family

We have an exciting update about our Bridge clinic! We have new staff available for appointments and updated hours. Effective today, the clinic will be open Monday through Friday from 8:30 AM to 5:00 PM to assist you with addiction recovery and mental health support. Meet the Team: TPSOC Director, Jackie

Jackie began her career working at Fairbanks Hospital, where she developed a deep commitment to the addiction and behavioral health field. She has dedicated her career to supporting individuals and families affected by substance use disorder and hopes to help them find hope, healing, and recovery. She says, "Today I am grateful to be in a leadership role where I can continue making a positive impact within the community. I truly love collaborating with teams, supporting growth and innovation in care, and helping expand access to services for those in need. My work is driven by a genuine passion for recovery and belief that every individual deserves the opportunity to heal and thrive."
