Ponder, TX - 17yr old Caden Nowicki has passed away. It was reported yesterday that Nowicki was fighting for his life after being in a sledding accident. He was using a Kayak as a sled while being pulled by an ATV. Our original report is below. We send our prayers and condolences to the Nowicki family and the entire Ponder community.

Ponder, TX - 17yr old Caden Nowicki is currently in ICU after a sledding accident in a kayak. Nowicki was using a kayak as a sled while being pulled by an ATV. He was ejected from the kayak and crashed into a fence. Nowicki is a Senior at Ponder High School.rtim
