A few weekends of hard work and this project is finally done! Some sanding, paint and new handles transformed these yellow, vintage pieces, giving them a modern, distressed look.

Frankenstein has arrived! This guy was a plain styrofoam head purchased from that my daughter and I painted. I created a body by repurposing some plastic containers and an old tshirt and felt fabric made a perfect outfit. Happy Halloween!

Handmade birthday card- the inside had a tear, so I improvised by adding cute paper to cover it. The paper clip can be removed.
