Laborers' Local 140

Local 140 members Andrew Reuter, Mason Schramm, and Brad Jelinek are working for Fowler & Hammer at the Trane facility in La Crosse, Wisconsin. These brothers do concrete work and also perform general maintenance throughout the Trane facility, helping keep the site operating safely and efficiently.

🔨 Early this Saturday morning, our Business Agent, Peter Arentz, is leading another First Aid/CPR certification class at the Local 140 office.

A big thank you to Cody Petersen, Trevor Arentz, Evan Klinkner, and Mikey Richards for giving up part of a beautiful Saturday to invest in themselves and their community. These four members are helping us reach our goal of having 200 journeyworkers complete an 8-hour continuing education course by May 1, 2028. 📚

🚧 By becoming First Aid/CPR certified, they’re preparing themselves to respond when it matters most. Whether it’s a fellow laborer on the job, a friend, or a family member facing an unexpected emergency, they’ll have the knowledge and confidence to step in and help until professional responders arrive.

👏 Thank you to all five of you for your commitment to safety, continuing education, and always looking out for one another. That’s what union brotherhood is all about.

Progress is moving right along at the Richland Center High School project! 💪
