Our Story

East County TNR was formed by Donna Cozad and Vicki Herrick in 2014. They started trapping Feral in the East side of Grays Harbor in hope of cutting the Colony site down. As they soon found out the kittens could not be left so the rescue part started last year May of 2014 32 kittens were taken out of one home. In 2014 over 200 cats were rescued some did not make it due to distemper and Respiratory. This year a new beginning for East County TNR. As of 05/12/2015 we became a WA Non-Profit Corporation. East County pays for Vet Care, Feed and Litter of all cats coming into our care. We will start having a Adoption Fee for the cats. All cats will be tested fixed and shots before leaving us. Hoping for great things in the years to come.East County has a account set up at Timberland Bank in Montesano, WA that donation can be made. September of 2017 East County TNR joined in with Kitty Litter Lane Rescue and Transport. So many more lives are now being saved. Aug 2018 separated from Kitty Litter Lane. Registered with State of Washington as East County Rescue and Transport.
