Well, it's National Small Business week, and we've got some BIG brags.

First of all, thanks to all of you and our team for allowing us *50* years of service to our community! Yup, 5 years before our second generation owner was born, Stan and Donna were hanging up the sign and opening the doors! 50 years later, same family, one generation removed, and much of the same staff for the last two decades.

Did you know at least 8 former employees of Stan's have gone on to own their own businesses? We recruit like minded people, help them grow, and then support them in their success!

A great example is Jim Plane - State Farm Insurance Agent! Guess what? Him and his team just celebrated their 11th year in business yesterday!

Additionally, we've had two employees retire with over 25 years of service, and still have six of us here that have over 20! Trace cracked 32 years with us this year! (Incidentally, you might find that his wife Vikki is who has been taking care of you over at State Farm for the last 11 years too!)

I'm also super proud of those who have left and followed my (Scott's) passion for public safety service. Our former employees include a full time firefighter for mountain view fire, a local paramedic, and even the Deputy Chief of Mountain View fire! Scott is still also a deputy with the Weld County Sheriff's Office. Stan and Scott also both serve on the volunteer fire department in their small community town.

Service runs in our blood. It's who we are, it's what we do.
