As I've started to participate in the community events, gatherings, and spaces... I've come more and more to rely on Matchbox – both the space and the people – to see work HAPPEN.

As a case in point, in October I was able to take a sketch of an art installation and come to the maker space to:
Measure
3D Model
Cut and trim
Drill and file
Improvise and glue
3D Print
Wire and program...
..Well within two hours. This type of rapid prototyping would not have been possible without having a space like this.
