Service Writer/Customer Service

Objective: To provide excellent customer service both in relation to product and to service. Builds friendly, yet business like relationships with customers, suppliers, and co-workers.

Primary Job Responsibilities:
1) Communicates effectively with customers and provides information to Technicians.
2) Develop excellent working knowledge of Motor Shop System to support daily work and expedite customers in a timely manner.
a. Complete customer ticket information in Motor Shop
b. Print Ticket for customers
c. Accept payments from customers
d. Ability to complete daily closing activities
3) Tire Inventory and reconciliation as required.
4) Knowledge of tires and ability to order for inventory and customer service.
5) Filing and other clerical duties as required.
6) Some stocking of inventory if required.
7) Some housekeeping and general cleanup as required.

Skills Required for Job:
1) Excellent computer skills. Good knowledge of Microsoft word and Microsoft Excel.
2) General accounting knowledge.
3) Background in automotive, etc. a plus

1) Ability to work efficiently and handle multiple demands.
2) Ability to work well with team members. Treat others with respect.
3) Good oral and written communication skills.
