About Our Business:

BenCo Insurance Agency LLC is a 2nd generation family owned, woman owned property & casualty independent insurance agency. Meghan Tietje took over the business when her father, Benny Foskey, retired in 2022. The two had been writing & servicing insurance policies together since 2002. Benny started BenCo, Inc., a payroll service company in 1994. The insurance agency was later started in 2002 to better serve the BenCo payroll service clients’ need for workers comp insurance which is required in our state. Over the next 20 years, the insurance agency business grew to become its own separate company from the payroll service.
BenCo Insurance Agency LLC is a trusted independent insurance agency with a reputation of many happy long term customers. The owner, Meghan, had over 15 years experience in business operations, human resource mgmt, payroll processing, bookkeeping, accounting, sales tax filing & more with BenCo, Inc. before she got her insurance license. She was able to get 9 years experience in the insurance industry before she secured her own LA P&C Insurance Producer license in 2011. She worked as a customer service representative for her father‘s insurance customers from 2002 thru 2011 when she became a licensed producer. She continued to work for her father as a producer until his retirement in 2022.
