Local Hero: Kevin Yokum

Here is Kevin's story: Kevin Yokum was a Petty Officer 2nd Class in the U.S. Navy serving at the Pentagon in Washington, DC, as an intelligence petty officer. Kevin was born and raised in Lake Charles, La., Kevin, 27, was among those who lost their lives at the Pentagon on September 11 after terrorists hijacked and crashed a jet airliner into the building. Kevin’s final resting place is located here at Combre Memorial Park Cemetery.
