Today The Extra Step donated to Zayne and his family who are going through an unbelievably tough time at the hospital during COVID-19.
Zayne is just a week old and has a Diaphragmatic Hernia, and because of this, his lungs do not grow properly. He is currently 100% dependent on an Oscillator to breathe. At only 4lbs, he cannot be transferred to an ECMO machine which would significantly increase his chance of survival. The doctors are not giving up on Zayne and are currently exhausting all efforts to get him healthy.
We are wishing him and his family the best in this terrible situation and thank all our donors and supporters for helping us make a small contribution to an unimaginable circumstance.
