What a wonderful morning it was! Today was OC Walk to Remember, a Forever Footprints annual event. Sam and I volunteered at the Walking in Memory of Sticker Tent. Parents, families, friends and supporters came to us to put their baby’s name down for whom they were doing the walk in memory. For every baby loss, a sunflower was given to the family. Every name was listed on the Baby Wall and also announced during the program as part of the memorial. Thousands of people showed up this morning and it was an honor to be a part of this event. What was touching to me was to see young kids write down their brother or sister’s name on the sticker and wear it with pride. ❤️

Recently Shanne Ho was nominated and appointed to the Board of Directors of Forever Footprints. Forever Footprints is a nonprofit organization whose mission is to ensure that families who have suffered a pregnancy or infant loss receive the best support, comfort, and resources possible. To do so, Forever Footprints provides families with direct services, educates the medical community to improve quality of care and response, and offers opportunities for remembrance to help families find their own path to healing.
