Air Quality Update for Camp Families

We want to keep you informed regarding the reduced air quality in our area and the steps we're taking to ensure a safe and enjoyable experience for all campers.

The health and safety of our campers and staff remain our highest priority. Our leadership and medical teams are closely monitoring air quality conditions throughout the day, with special attention given to campers who have asthma or other known respiratory concerns.

To reduce exposure while maintaining a meaningful camp experience, we've made several adjustments to today's schedule, including:

• Moving most activities, Bible sessions, and free play indoors
• Limiting outdoor physical activity to short periods of 20 minutes or less
• Postponing boat rides until visibility and air quality improve
• Continuing to monitor campers and staff who may be more sensitive to current conditions

Our program team has worked hard to adapt activities so campers can continue building friendships, growing in faith, and enjoying camp despite the smoky conditions.

The sounds of chainsaws and heavy equipment have been non-stop at Covenant Harbor in Lake Geneva.

Much like the rest of Walworth County our camp was hit hard by the storms from over a week ago. We've been busy cutting and hauling and now could use a few extra hands.

Professional arborists are taking care of the hazardous tree removal, but we need volunteers to help restore camp as more campers arrive this summer.

Volunteer Cleanup Days

Projects include:
✔️ Brush clearing & hauling
✔️ Trail and pathway cleanup
✔️ Wood chipping
✔️ Moving logs
✔️ Chainsaw work (adults only—please bring your own saw. We'll provide fuel and bar oil.)
