Meet our favorite Manager of Engineering at DataDx, Patrick Anderson. Patrick began his career in healthcare technology working as a tech support specialist for a claims adjudication software vendor. Since then he has logged over a decade of experience in various areas of healthcare technology and development with a focus on EDI (Electronic Data Interchange). Patrick is passionate about creating an interactive and useful analytics platform that providers and dentists can use to ensure better more efficient care for their patients. Patrick continues to be a great asset to DataDx and strives to use his knowledge and experience to create an effective development team. When not at work Patrick spends most of his time in the outdoors camping, hunting or fishing with his family.

Thursday, is that a thing? Well we are making it one with our favorite Cloud Engineer, Joe Garro. Joe has spent a two-decade career almost exclusively in . If you understand the techy side of things then he will impress you with his background where he started his career in the early days of at a clearing house that converted paper claims to compliant EDI X12. Joe has worked on a Payor-centric claims adjudication engine with a special focus on cheap massive scalability. The VA Financial Services Center leveraged his experience on high volume claims processing as part of their HCPS Integration Project. Prior to DataDx he honed his experience building a metrics processing engine and reporting architecture that was utilized by six of Oregon’s CCOs. He continues to leverage his experience and love of distributed systems to efficiently scale DataDx’s products at one point reducing cloud operation expenditures by 70% a month. When not working he can be found coaching Soccer or not easily found in one of the many wildernesses of the Klamath Mountain Range.
