As you all know very well, these lands were originally populated by indigenous tribes, the true Native Americans. populated the area surrounding the Occoquan River long before the first English settlers arrived. It was the Dogue tribe who gave the Occoquan its name, meaning “at the end of the water.” Then, suddenly, around the year 1681, the Dogue tribe disappeared.
Como todos ya deben saber muy bien, estas tierras fueron originalmente pobladas por grupos aborigenes, los verdaderos nativos americanos. Poblaron el área que rodea el río Occoquan mucho antes de que llegaran los primeros colonos ingleses. Fue la tribu Dogo quien le dio a Occoquan su nombre, que significa "al final del agua". Entonces, de repente, alrededor del año 1681, la tribu Dogo desapareció.

In the big city of Sao Paulo, Brazil, the metro works very well and takes you throughout the city. It also has stations that are very new and clean. The old area is more neglected. This is the subway exit to the República area, which is in the center of the city. This neighborhood is very busy throughout the week. This is where I started to take more street photos. This medium format photo was complicated because I had a very low-sensitivity film, and I had to stay very relaxed so as not to move the camera. 2017
En la gran ciudad de Sao Paulo, Brazil, el metro funciona muy bien y te lleva a lo largo de la ciudad. ademas tiene estaciones que estan muy nuevas y limpias. La zona vieja si esta mas descuidada. Esta es la salida del metro al area de República, que queda en el centro de la ciudad. Este barrio es muy transitado en toda la semana. Aqui fue donde comence hacer mas fotos de calle. Esta foto de medio formato fue complicada por que tenia una pelicula de sensibilidad muy baja, debia quedarme muy relajado para no mover la camara. 2017⁣⁣⁣⁣

..walking into the memorial honoring Lincoln and his work, I really felt the weight of his deeds. You feel a kind of inspiration when you mix a bit of his history and when you see the height of the room. The echo bounces strongly, forcing people to lower their voices, and creating an air of respect and honor in the environment. You understand why men like Luther King raise their voices in his presence.....entrando al monumento conmemorativo en honor a Lincoln y su obra, sentí realmente el peso de sus actos. Sientes una especie inspiracion cuando mezclas un poco de su historia y cuando ves la altura de la sala. El eco rebota fuertemente, obligando a la gente a bajar su voz, generando el ambiente un aire de respeto y honorabilidad. Entiendes porque hombres como Luther King alzan su voz en su presencia...
