Friday I had the privilege to be the keynote speaker at Lake Stevens High-school’s MLK assembly.

I cannot express how incredible opportunity this was to speak on mh experience as a black man dealing with hate speech and talk about how we can grow as a people.

From my speech; “MLK’s legacy is a world in which we harmonize with each other. I know people love unity and love the word. But let me propose a different word to use… Harmony. Harmony doesn’t tell us that we can’t be ourselves, its doing your role so well that when it works with a different role it’s beautiful“
