Normally, I don’t post personal things on my business page, but this girl deserves a little extra attention today.

Today is her last day of high school, and I couldn’t be more proud. This year, she has worked incredibly hard. She went from struggling academically in the prior years to earning straight A’s and B’s, finishing last semester with an impressive 3.95 GPA. She has maintained those grades while working part-time, and watching her grow into the young woman she is today has been an absolute privilege.

And as if today wasn’t special enough, it also happens to be my 45th birthday. Honestly, I can’t think of a better birthday gift than watching her reach this milestone and seeing all of her hard work pay off.

Behind every beautiful piece of jewelry is a workbench that looks like it lost a fight! I am pretty sure I thrive in constant chaos. Making jewelry is a messy and ugly process… People see the sparkle, not the sawdust, silver scraps, and controlled chaos behind it.
