I don't really feel like making a big retrospective post on the year that has past.
It's in many ways been a really, really rough year. There's been good among the bad, but so much bad.
I'm glad it's over I am hoping for a better year, I'm gonna try my best.
But gloom hangs over the beginning of it and I'm already fighting anxiety and despair.

One aspect that I've been working incredibly hard at is this. My sleep, you can clearly see a steady improvement over time. I'll keep at it, I truly think it's an important key to recovery for me.

Thanks to all the people who made my year a little easier. Special thanks to Bethy, Jaclyn, Hannah & David, and Linda for their generosity and support.
And shout out to Morgan for helping me not give up on my creative endeavors and encouraging my development as a writer.

I am taking a plunge deeper into the swamp of photography and digital creation. I've got much to learn, but I am so very excited about it.
These are pictures from my first proper delve into Portrait photography.

These were taken just a few days before I had my seizure and broke three vertebrae in my spine. I was very excited about this journey I was taking on, ready to learn and practice, I was reading through the fantastic advice of the inimitable and trying to remember as much of it as I could.

Obviously it didn’t quite work out, and I’ve spent a long time, both mentally and physically recovering, after medication adjustments and an amazing mental health getaway in July, I’m now finally ready.

So here you have it, I’m quite proud of these first steps and can’t wait to show you more!
