Leadership Academy 2026 is in the books. Some of the Professional Development Team took a second for a quick group picture. During the Academy you could see PD members helping with registration, presenting and serving others. Thank you to everyone who worked behind the scenes to make it all happen!

Congratulations to our Aspiring Instructional Coach Academy Cohort 6 participants. This week they completed the face-to-face portion of the academy. They will submit their final projects soon and be ready to support Polk County Public Schools as Instructional Coaches! We are so proud of their hard work and dedication to the program this year! The Aspiring Instructional Coaches Academy (AICA) is currently accepting applications for our next cohort from April 9 - May 15, 2026.
The application window closes at 5pm on May 15, 2026
The Program readiness screening of selected applicants will take place on June 8, 2026.
NOTE: Candidates selected for Cohort 7 will be eligible for instructional coaching positions upon acceptance into the cohort to meet immediate district needs.
Program Timeline: September 2026-December 2026
