It's a question as old as time. Is coffee bad for your
teeth? Many things can damage or stain your teeth, like foods or
drinks that are acidic, sugary, or high in sodium.

The coffee in itself is not bad for your teeth. In fact, if
you practice good dental hygiene, you can lessen the coffee effects. But teeth are porous, and coffee sinks into the spots to make its home. You want to make sure to brush or rinse right after drinking coffee or use a straw to lessen the yellowing and staining. However, even with good dental hygiene, your teeth will yellow and stain from frequent coffee consumption over time.

Dr. Fernandez recommends regular cleaning appointments and
teeth whitening to address the stains and prevent corrosion. So the answer is you can still drink coffee, just brush after, schedule regular appointments, and look into teeth whitening.
