Our Story

In the age of disposable everything, we work to save beautiful and timeless objects from the past for new life in a modern context.

Vintage & antique pieces tell stories in their details. They ask us to slow down and pay attention, to wonder at their construction, purposes, materials and origins. In fact, we named our new venture "Telltale Dress" for just this reason: to celebrate the telltale signs of past lives, past uses, past stewards, and to breathe new life into what might have otherwise been cast off and forgotten.

There is a thoughtfulness to integrating vintage and antique pieces into one's home and wardrobe, a deliberateness. They require a bit more effort to find and take care of, and in this way they often become one's most treasured objects.

We purposefully seek to purchase vintage & antique items from local estate sales, auctions, and individuals. We are keeping our resources in our community by using most of our business dollars to purchase locally, and in turn, our customers support us by finding their next keepsake at our boutique.
