The Pennsylvania Supreme Court just ruled that mandatory death-by-incarceration for felony murder is unconstitutional.

For decades, people were automatically sentenced to die in prison.
No second chances. No individual review. No consideration of who they are.

And here’s the part people don’t like to talk about:
you didn’t even have to be the one who killed someone.

Just being involved was enough to disappear you.

This ruling cracks that open.

Over 1,000+ people in Pennsylvania were serving these sentences.
Now, there is at least a path to be seen again.

But let’s not confuse movement with justice.

Because systems don’t suddenly become fair —
they get pushed, challenged, and forced to change.

Here in Lancaster, we know exactly what it looks like when systems decide who is disposable. ✊🏾✊🏿
