Jessica, Julie, and Austin have been agonizing over their choices for their TOP READS of the first half of 2026. Each chose their ten favorite books published from January through June, with the emphatic caveat that there are several books from the first six months of the year that we think we'll LOVE but that we hadn't read by June 30th. (Austin is a stickler for rules, but Julie refuses to admit defeat in the face of the passage of time, so we must acknowledge the books that continue to hang out on our TBR stacks.) In any case: the 28 books listed here are certified BANGERS, and we will happily yap about each and every one.
