On Friday, June 5, RRTA staff attended VisionCorps' "Eye Drop" event. This fundraiser supports programs and services for individuals who are blind or experiencing vision loss. Participants raise money in exchange for the opportunity to rappel down the 10-story Holiday Inn building!

As a provider of accessible public transportation, RRTA is proud to support organizations like VisionCorps that help individuals with vision impairments stay connected to the community.

BE NICE Tip of the Month: For your safety, do not run to catch a moving bus. Bus drivers cannot pick up passengers once a bus has left the bus stop. This is for everyone’s safety. Please arrive at the bus stop a few minutes early to ensure you can board safely.

June is National Safety Month!

Here are a few small safety habits to make every ride safer for everyone!

This morning, RRTA staff joined Rep. Nikki Rivera for her “Bus it to Market” event! The goal of the event was to show attendees how simple, convenient, and affordable public transit can be. Attendees traveled together to explore Central Lancaster City by visiting the Market and local shops along the way.

During the ride, Representative Rivera spoke with our Executive Director, Greg Downing, about RRTA’s service and the importance of public transportation in the community. At Queen Street Station, riders were welcomed by City of Lancaster Mayor, Jaime Arroyo, who discussed some of his goals for the city.
