Stay At Scone Mom

If I’ve seemed quiet on here for awhile, it’s because we have big news to share- we have a little baby GIRL joining our family later this year! 🎀🥳

The bittersweet news is that I have decided to officially close Stay At Scone Mom for this next chapter we’re entering in. Two years ago when I started SASM I would have NEVER pictured that I would be 25 weeks pregnant with my 3rd child right now!! We are so grateful for our growing family but with this growth comes lots of change. I decided to take a break from baking so I can focus on our family & navigate having three kids 3 years old & under.

I am so thankful for our partnership with .grands and how understanding they have been during this season as I’ve been pregnant & chasing after two toddlers nonstop. I told Five Grands that I might be able to do random “drops” every now and then if we have a calm week (meaning no sickness coming from preschool 😅 IYKYK!) so keep an eye out for that! 🍥

Apple cinnamon scones are back! These are a house favorite. Try one with an Americano and really get to taste all the flavors of both!

There’s something special about the quiet evenings after Teddy goes to bed. A lot of times it’s me forming scones with the lights dim and baby-wearing my newborn son Archie while listening to music (tonight’s playlist was Ella Fitzgerald radio).

I think about a lot of things while baking but what I probably think about the most is how much I love making people happy through this. I think about the mom and her kids grabbing some scones & coffee on their way to school during the morning rush. Or maybe it’s someone grabbing one for a friend who is having a rough day. Regardless who it’s for, it’s an honor to be a small part of your lives. I hope & pray these scones continue to bring a smile to your face and the ones you love. 🫶🏼
