⏰ WE ARE ALMOST THERE! In just a few short hours, the Juneteenth Freedom Festival kicks off in Downtown Lancaster! Before you head out, here are a few important reminders to help make your weekend enjoyable, safe, and memorable.

🚧 ROAD CLOSURE NOTICE 🚧

Main Street road closures will begin at approximately 3:30 PM today as crews prepare for tonight's festivities. If you are coming downtown this afternoon, please avoid parking on Main Street so we can safely prepare the festival area. Lancaster PD

💧 STAY COOL & HYDRATED 💧
It's going to be a HOT weekend, and we want everyone to stay safe while enjoying the festival!
💦 Stop by the City of Lancaster Tent for our Hydration Station and complimentary water.
🌬️ Cooling stations with misting fans will be located throughout the festival area to help you cool down throughout the day.
🚑 If you or someone around you begins feeling overheated, dizzy, weak, or unwell, please notify EMS, Fire, Police, Event Staff, or a volunteer immediately. Your safety is our top priority, and we want everyone to enjoy the festival while staying healthy and hydrated.

💡 Due to the anticipated crowd size, we kindly ask that large coolers remain at home. Small personal coolers are welcome, but limiting cooler size will help maximize space for everyone to enjoy the festival.

🪑 Designated Seating and Standing areas
There will be designated seating and standing room sections within the Greenspace near the stage. Event signage will be posted throughout the area to help guide attendees. Whether you want to relax in a chair or stand and enjoy the music, there will be room for everyone to enjoy the show!

Enjoy food vendors, craft vendors, business vendors, community organizations, and so much more throughout Downtown Lancaster.
