On October 2nd and 3rd, the F&M Theater and Dance department put on their annual Fall Dance Event. However, this year, it took place socially-distanced, on the Armstrong North Field behind College Row. Pieces were choreographed by Faculty members, Jennifer Conley and Pamela Vail, along with a guest artist, Magira Ross.

Shortly after 6 p.m. on Monday, residents of Brooks College House received an email notifying them of a recent wastewater testing result and requiring all residents in Marshall and Buchanan dorms to immediately quarantine and sign up for a mandatory COVID-19 test on Tuesday.

Many members of the F&M community participated in last week's Scholar Strike put on by the Black Student Union. "In the middle of a pandemic, people came together to voice their frustrations about police brutality and support our organization.” said Rachel St Louis, President of F&M's BSU. St Louis then shared her hope that “all those in attendance continue to show up and speak out. Protest. Donate. Act.”

As the College wrapped-up its first two rounds of COVID-19 entry testing for all students last week, hundreds of students had still not completed entry testing, some students had never even received first tests, and turnout for the first round of surveillance testing lacked.
