Who is Blacksheep?
Blacksheep primarily performs rock & alternative covers. We strive to select relatable songs that contain underlying themes of hope, healing and helpfulness. The world can be quite challenging, but there’s always joy and beauty to discover. There are things worth fighting and living for. We all have purpose.
Our name comes from the idea that we are all a little different, sometimes we think we don’t fit in or we feel like outsiders. Not everyone likes us, and sometimes we don’t like ourselves. We are not “perfect” (whatever that is). Maybe we stand out a little “uniquely”. But none of us are alone in our struggles, and we absolutely ALL have value.
Our goal is that our music will help you feel that you belong and matter, in spite of life’s challenges, in spite of any mistakes ... that you are worth seeking out & celebrating, and that your life can be a grand adventure.
