Happy St. Lucia Day!!! The traditions of Lucia Day inspired our cover art for Coventry Carol! On Dec 13, Scandinavian countries celebrate the Feast of St. Lucia (or St. Lucy) by processing into church wearing wreaths of lighted candles - a custom inspired by the tradition that St. Lucy would wear wreaths of lighted candles on her head when delivering food to members of the early church hiding in Roman catacombs.
