Some cats chase the wand toy.
Castiel prefers a more refined approach: lie down, wait for the toy to arrive, grab it with authority, and refuse to release it.
To be clear, he does not always play this way. Sometimes he is all in. Sometimes he is ready to hunt. And sometimes he simply looks at the toy and decides that jumping around is not currently aligned with his personal brand.
It is not lazy. It is efficient.
