I’ve had many People tell me that the Lancaster Art Collection place mats are too pretty to use and they are afraid they will stain them. Please don’t be afraid to use them. They are easily machine washable and line dry-able. The place mats are color fast and will not run when laundered. I spot clean any stains like coffee, tomato sauce or red wine with a little OxyClean. Amazingly the spots usually show up on the back of the place mat not the front. I think this is because the printing process turns the water based inks that are used into a gas that dyes the front surface of the fabric. As you can see from the “Before Photo” the stains show up on the back of the place mat but are not visible on the front. I poured coffee and red wine on the front of the place mat to create the stains. You can see in the “After Photo” how easily they clean up. The Lancaster Art Collection Place mats are more than beautiful when you use and enjoy them everyday!

The Lancaster Art Collection is now available at the Framing Concept and Gallery located at 328 North Queen Street in Lancaster PA. The Framing Concept is open Tuesday - Friday 10-5, Saturday 10- 4 and First Fridays from 10-9. We hope to see you soon!
