Lancaster Libertarian Committee

Attention Libertarians: Lancaster County is in need of help distributing cards for our Governor and Lt. Governor candidates at parades this coming late summer/early fall season. Dates to be posted.

In 2026, Democrats or Republicans have to win 102 seats in the Pennsylvania House to have a majority.

Libertarians only need to win one.

Currently, there are 102 Democrats and 101 Republicans seated in the General Assembly.

If a Libertarian flips a seat, the two old parties would have to make concessions with us to get anything done.

All we need is one Libertarian. If you want to be that Libertarian, reach out and we will connect you with your local affiliate!

TAKE ACTION join the Libertarian Party of Lancaster County
It’s so easy to join. You need only to be a resident of Lancaster County (or an adjacent county as long as you are not a member of another county-level Libertarian Party). You will need to certify that you agree with this statement: “I hereby certify that I do not believe in or advocate either engaging in fraud or initiating the use of force as a means of achieving political or social goals.”

We normally meet at 7:30pm on the first Wednesday of each month. and normally at 15 Mount Joy Street in Mount Joy. Please check the calendar on the events page to verify the date and time.

Volunteer
Volunteer to help on one of our committees. You do not need to be a member to participate on a committee.

Become a Candidate and Run for Office !
Don’t laugh. This is not as hard as you might think. We can help. There are many Lancaster County local offices begging for good candidates. Do your civic duty. Your voter registration does need to be Libertarian.

Register Libertarian
Make your registration match your head and heart. Change your voter registration to Libertarian. Even this small gesture does send a message and has an impact.
