ASD is a spectrum disorder, which means that every child with autism has unique strengths, challenges, and needs. There is no one-size-fits-all path — and no two children experience autism in the same way.
At Swank Early Skills Development, we believe that meaningful progress begins by meeting every child exactly where they are. Our approach is centered on understanding each child as an individual and tailoring programs to support their specific goals, abilities, and learning style.
We are an ABA therapy provider supporting children who have an autism diagnosis.
Our services are individualized, compassionate, and evidence-based because children deserve support designed for them, not a checklist.
If you have concerns about your child’s development, we encourage families to start by speaking with their pediatrician or healthcare provider, who can guide next steps.

Different needs. Different strengths. Individualized support — every step of the way.

Welcome back to Monday Milestones, our weekly series focused on early communication development and what you may expect as your child grows.
By around 18 months of age, many children begin to:
• Attempt to say words beyond parents or favorite items.
• Use a growing variety of sounds or early words to communicate wants and needs.
• Follow simple one-step directions, especially when paired with gestures
(for example: “Give me the ball” while pointing).
These early skills support language development, social connection, and learning.
If you have concerns about your child’s development, we encourage you to start by speaking with your child’s pediatrician or healthcare provider, who can guide you through the next steps and evaluations if needed.
Swank Early Skills Development is an ABA therapy provider that offers individualized services to children with an autism diagnosis, helping them build communication, social, and daily living skills through evidence-based support.
