TEARS AND FIRE

"He that goeth forth and weepeth, bearing precious seed, shall doubtless come again with rejoicing, bringing his sheaves with him". Ps 126:6

Tears of brokenness, tears of contrition and repentance; tears for a world lost and dying without Jesus.

"Holy laughter" can be a "personal experience", but it does not bring revival, fire, and harvest - but tears do. Tears are the key to bringing in the harvest. Church history tells us so.

An eyewitness to the Welsh revival said "It was not the eloquence of Evan Roberts that broke men down, but his tears. “He would break down, crying bitterly for God to bend them, in an agony of prayer, the tears coursing down his cheeks, with his whole frame writhing. Strong men would break down and cry like children…a sound of weeping and wailing would fill the air”.

Brokenness is the key to Pentecostal power. The measure to which we bend before God, and the lesser we are in ourselves; that is the measure to which we will walk in the Power of God.
