I always find it interesting when municipalities higher planners or launch commissions that cost tens of thousands of dollars. Rather, we generally do not need to recreate the wheel and can find many existing solutions to our problems that just need to be tweaked to our community. However, when we do need innovation, we really should borrow more from the private consulting world. There are so many tools out there we can use for a fraction of the price. Here is one example that we could do for far less than they even spent because we don't need to travel and have the facilities!
