Garrard County Schools is pleased to announce Mrs. Diana Hart as the district’s next Assistant Superintendent.👏
Mrs. Hart brings a wealth of educational leadership experience, including 13 years of service in Garrard County Schools in a variety of roles. During her tenure, she made history as the first and only female principal of Garrard County High School. Most recently, she served as Assistant Superintendent in Lincoln County Schools.
She holds a Bachelor’s degree in Chemistry and a Master’s degree in Chemistry Education. In addition, she has earned her Director of Pupil Personnel certification, Curriculum Specialist certification, and Superintendent certification.
Mrs. Hart is dedicated to student success, supporting educators, and strengthening a positive and high-performing learning environment across the district. While her professional accomplishments are extensive, she considers her greatest achievements to be her family, her husband of 20 years, Clayton, and their two children, Parker and Stella Beth.

Day 2 of our Lady Lions Basketball Camp featured a special guest! 🦁🏀👏

Our campers had the opportunity to learn from Lady Lion legend Karen Powell. She shared her love for the game and encouraged athletes to commit to getting better every day. She spent time speaking with all of our campers and worked closely with our high school players, sharing lessons from her basketball journey.

Our youngest learners spent the morning creating and having fun through hands-on art activities designed to build fine motor, social, and cognitive skills. A big thank you to our Family Resource Center and preschool staff for providing this opportunity for families!
