As we wrap up this year’s 100 Mile Hike 4 Tikes, it’s hard to put into words just how much this journey has meant, not just in miles, but in moments.

For Scott Glenn Smith, this wasn’t just another hike. After his medical emergency in December 2023, he was told hiking might not be something he’d ever get back to. Yet here he is—100 miles later—stronger than ever, proving that resilience, determination, and heart can overcome even the toughest odds. Watching him take every step was a reminder to all of us of what’s possible when you refuse to give up.

And he didn’t do it alone. The PSI Team, Bryce Brennan and Vanessa Zook rallied around and stepped up to walk in support of these two amazing charities Cranio Care Bears and American Cancer Society.

Back in 2023, Scott completed 100-Miles for Hike 4 Tikes as he crossed the Mason-Dixon line raising over $11,000 for two children's charities.
