Danko Family Racing

Just a quick highlight from Maplegrove Dragway from this past weekend. We had a guest appearance crew member Bob Toth and boy did he earn his keep with a very busy weekend for us. Special thank you to every person on our team once again I couldn’t do it without you all! Tim with Mr Race Oil got to hangout with us awhile and we got to meet his son Andre, he seemed in heaven around all the cars! I feel like I once again let everyone down. Disappointment would be an understatement but we are still going at it with the hopes of beating our gremlins. This season we have had to take the motor apart and slap it back together so many times you would think we are a fuel team. Q3 caught us with the heads still off, blower on ground and nowhere near ready to make a run to get in the field but guess what, we did it. I had to get suited up and strapped in the car at the trailer and the crew took off towing me up to the lanes. Barreling down the staging lanes and right out into the water box, start up, short burn out back up as the starter is yelling at me to stage and we did. With a little help from broke competitors we did make the field only to have some problems of our own. We do not give up and will be back out soon and hopefully we catch these gremlins that have been haunting us. Thank you to everyone that supports us throughout racing!
