Our resolution to decriminalize entheogens in East Lansing failed last night in city council, 2-3. This was not the outcome we were hoping for, but we were pleased to hear the near unanimous support among city council members for the intention behind this resolution, that is that people should not be put in jail for accessing the natural healing that entheogens provide.

Thank you to Councilmember Dana Watson for championing this resolution, and to Mayor Pro Tem Jessy Gregg for your support. And thank you SO much to everyone who supported this movement in East Lansing, especially all the people who took the time to speak so eloquently to city council last night in support of the resolution. You all clearly made an impact on them, and change is coming whether they're ready for it or not!

There are still some avenues open to us for potential action here in the Lansing area, but now we can at least look forward to the statewide initiatives that will protect access to entheogens for all Michiganders. Find out more at https://www.micommunityhealing.org/
