When planning your Thanksgiving meal this week please KEEP IT COLORFUL!

Eating a variety of colorful food provides vitamins, minerals, and antioxidants to nourish your body that can’t be replicated in a supplement.

Different colored foods play different roles in the body. Aim for at least three colors at every meal and two servings of fruit and three servings of vegetables over the course of the day.

Today the WESTSIDE YMCA Turning Point ladies got to experience the YMCA Healthy Living MOBILE KITCHEN! What a great time everyone had preparing, cooking and eating delicious pumpkin muffins and whole grain linguine with spinach & arugula. The perfect after workout lunch.The Mobile Kitchen will be making the rounds this week and next to the other Turning Point Class locations. What a healthy, nutritious, educational treat for all involved :-)
