TS-4 Verson 1600 crown being machined after a HD redesign of several critical areas to help combat today’s HSLA’s

A 1600 ton four-point Verson press crown in for a major repair. The crown has seen severe stress causing fractures in floor of the crown and all around the main pin blocks. These housings were scarfed out in our weld shop then the crown was set on our mill to pre-machine for welding. Stay tuned for more on this massive project!
