Whether you're spending the day at the lake, the pool, or the beach, remove your contact lenses before getting in the water. Lakes, rivers, pools, and hot tubs can expose your eyes to harmful microorganisms that may increase the risk of serious eye infections.

If you need vision correction while swimming, consider prescription goggles and always follow proper contact lens care habits.
