-Breakout Sessions (approximately 30 minutes)
-General Session Presentations (up to 90 minutes)

Make sure you put a hold on your calendar to join us Friday, March 6th at noon for the next MEMA Lunch and Learn! Public Health will present on House Bill 4427 - Brown Alert.

This bill requires that emergency alerts are sent when local water ways experience high e. coli levels. Though there is good intention behind this bill, there are some issues with the way that the bill is written and left to interpretation.

One of MEMA's goals this year is to provide information on legislative bills that impact the emergency management field. This Lunch and Learn is another opportunity to provide information and discuss legislation that will impact those responsible for sending emergency alerts.
